App Review – Temple Run – By Imangi

Temple Run, one of the many games that hit #1 on the App Store. Here’s a review for that wonderful app.

Temple Run is a game where you are trying to run from demon monkeys that you stole an idol from. The object of the game is to run until you fall off the platforms or you do any of the following: run into a tree, forget to duck when going under tree, burn your head off and get eaten by the demon monkeys. To jump, flick up. To duck, flick down. To turn, flick to the side you want to turn to. One of the great things about this game is that the coins are earned in the gameplay to buy powers like invisibility (to run through obstacles) and hyper speed (to run 250 meters without steering) and to buy new characters .

Even though through this review Temple Run sounds boring (that is what I thought before installing it), it is actually REALLY fun.

App Review – Where’s My Water – By Disney Mobile

Where’s My Water is a puzzle app. The object of the game is to get the water to the Swampy’s broken pipe with all 3 ducks. Swampy is the alligator in the game who hates to be dirty. The way to get ducks is by dragging water to them, but watch out! If you bring the purple water (poison water) or the green water (acid) to the ducks, the duck dies and if you bring the 2 to Swampy, you’ll have to re do the level.

There are 7 main packs, Meet Swampy, Troubled Waters, Under Pressure, Sink or Swim, Change is Good, Boiling Point and Stretched Thin. In each pack there are 20 levels. To unlock a certain pack, you must gather the amount of ducks they ask. Every pack has 1 new thing. Troubled Waters introduces the poison water. Under Pressure introduces the spray. Change is Good introduces the spray that changes between water. Boiling Point introduces steam and Stretched Thin introduces the balloons.

Overall, this would be an everyone game. I never stop playing!
